What is Heart Rate Stress Score (hrTSS)
Heart Rate Stress Score (hrTSS)
Heart Rate Training Stress Score estimates the physiological cost of an activity based on time spent in each heart rate zone. Like TSS, a score of 100 represents roughly one hour at threshold intensity.
We use hrTSS to calculate Training Load when power data isn't available — for example, rides without a power meter, or runs and swims.
